The next Oriental lunch at St Paul's Club on Tuesday 9th June from 12:30pm.
The
Oriental lunch in April was a great success with excellent feedback
from club members and guests alike. We have invited Head Chef Lee from The Eastern restaurant in Sutton Coldfield back to serve up another generous helping of his delicious and beautiful cuisine.
The
banquet will be served at 1pm in St Paul's famous dining room by the
club staff joined by Chits Singh, the owner/ manager of The Eastern, who
has served many VIPs and Prime Ministers over the years.
This month we have chosen to focus on Chinese cuisine. Your menu includes:
Prawn Crackers
Starters
Pork Yuk Sung- delicious pork wrapped in a fresh, crisp Chinese lettuce leaf
Spare Ribs- toothsome ribs marinated in our homemade BBQ sauce
Butter Prawns- A very popular starter. Delicious deep fried king prawns served with curry powder and curry leaves.
Mains
Sweet and Sour Chicken- the classic Chinese dish with our chef's homemade sauce balancing sweet and sour perfectly.
Beef
in Black Bean Sauce- perfectly stir fried sliced beef with crushed
black peppercorns, red and green peppers and ginger and spring onions.
BBQ
Sliced Pork- stir fried pork with fresh red and green peppers, onion,
Chinese coriander, garlic and spring onions in our delicious homemade
BBQ sauce
Vegetables in Ginger and Garlic- vegetables sautéed with ginger, garlic, white pepper and a hint of oyster sauce.
All served with jasmine rice and plain noodles.
Cheese and Biscuits
You will also receive a glass of wine with lunch.
